HOW WE STARTED
“Throughout my time living in Florence, Tuscany I became incredibly immersed in the Florentine culture in particular the art of perfumery and
the use of aroma essence oils.
This love of Florence and the surrounding lush green hills of the Tuscan countryside inspired the birth of LUCHIA.”

The Luchia journey began in Florence, Italy which is the heart of our company and the main source of our pure organic ingredients. Florence became a boundless source of inspiration for our founder encouraging fresh ideas which led to the creation of our range of organic products.
Our founder’s interest in perfumery stemmed from living in beautiful Tuscan surroundings and being exposed to the rich and traditional renaissance culture. During her many visits throughout Tuscany, she was captivated by the fragrant aromas and idyllic natural landscapes to which she was exposed during this time.
This led to her continued curiosity and passion for using organic aroma essences and their different properties for healing and benefiting wellness.
She also noticed that the market was very much saturated with an immense amount of products containing chemical ingredients and that there was a real need for natural alternatives derived from sustainable sources. She then sought to find the best quality of ingredients in order to fulfil this promise and create a strong foundation for Luchia as a whole.

Luchia, from the Italian ‘Luce’ meaning light, is that of hope. It is our mission to deliver this to you in each of our products.
We tailor our formulas to enhance your day to night time rituals and make a positive impact on your overall wellbeing.

Our logo, the Firefly, a source of light emphasises this positive journey that we aspire to take you on and reflects a golden standard within our products.

MEET THE TEAM
Fariba, CEO and Founder
Degree in International Marketing and Masters in Psychology.
Caring mother of two with experience living and studying Art in Florence. I developed my interest in natural formulas and perfumery whilst living in Italy. This has given me an understanding of the intricate composition of various aromas, sourced from plants and flowers.
My interest in human behaviour and psyche led me to work with young adults with learning difficulties, where I was able to support them alongside their personal growth. This is one of the reasons why Luchia emphasises the importance of wellness and self-care with its products.
Yasmin, Creative Director

Artist and Writer, my interest lies in creativity.
I curate space, build form, layer and piece together concepts and imagery as a whole. I engage with people in their environments in order to help them create a sense of balance and well-being. This holistic approach is mirrored in the ethos of Luchia, highlighting the value of natural products and their healing ingredients.
With an avid interest in human psychology, particularly art therapy, my role within Luchia is to deliver an atmosphere of wellness which can restore harmony and create moments of self-care.

I believe in understanding our human-oriented needs and creating value in our environments. Luchia reflects my strong awareness of the natural world through its use of natural, plant-based ingredients. We believe in tailoring products with your well-being in mind and we make it our core mission to do so.
I learned to appreciate the restorative role of nature during my time living in Falmouth, Cornwall. This part of England is uniquely diverse in its flora and fauna and has served as an important location for many who have learned to celebrate simplicity within everyday living.
